My little hummingbird -

A mesmerizing sight to watch

the sweetest humming for ears,

and brightest hues for eyes.

 

I do wonder how she can

soothe the mind of oblivious visions.

A talent found in few,

an aura so preciously rare

that can turn a predator

to an admirer of charm.

 

Sensitive but calm

impatient but wise.

 

A mind tangled in mysteries,

with occasional red flashed, but

a blue hue of calmness

always shining from her inner-self.

A lonesome damsel of pride

that feed on the honey

of agony melted long ago.

 

Lucky are those who have

felt her graceful caring mind

and her ethereal charming persona.

 

It is a vast feat

for a bird to tame a cat,

that is a sight you

have given me

my beautiful precious hummingbird.
